illumedia’s end of summer event:
3D Printing
Will 3D Printing Change the World?
Various resources will tell you that 3D printing has been around for over 2 decades. Charles ‘Chuck’ Hull invented stereolithography in 1983 – the technology that enables you to build 3D prototypes. It really didn’t seem to be on anyone’s radar back then. Obviously it took years of research, software and trial and error to get where we are today. AND – there is still more to come.
At present, 3D printing is being used for a variety of applications; beginning with electronic parts but now most notably prototyping. The additive manufacturing application has helped to advance more and more industries: healthcare, automotive, retail, special effects/post production and even food. Rest assured our clients will be asking us to incorporate 3D print into their campaigns and programs. How can we bring this dynamic technology further into the world in which our clients expect us to deliver the very best for their brand?
Join illumedia as we present an educational experience on where 3D printing is thriving now, and where it is bound to go. We’ll discuss how this technology can be infused a bit more into our business, for both you and your clients.
Speaking will be:
Dan Williams – Cideas
Greg Foster – Product Council
Paul Miller – 3D Systems
Clint Borucki – Acme Design Inc.
Patrick Lichty – Lichty Studios/Narumedia
