About Small Talks
AIGA Chicago Small Talks are intimately scaled events offering attendees the opportunity to learn about business practices, view work and experience environments at local studios and firms first-hand.

About Knoed
Knoed is the creative studio of husband and wife duo, Kim Knoll and Kyle Eertmoed. They craft meaningful brands through visual identity, print and digital experiences for startups and small businesses all over the world. Knoed was founded on the idea of getting back to basics—working with a handful of talented people and keeping things honest, focused and thoughtful—and to find creative freedom. To dream up designs they're proud of; to create a working environment that’s casual, inspiring and spontaneous; and to build lasting relationships with people they respect. Clients include Scorched Earth Brewing Co., Hannah’s Bretzel, Gene’s Sausage Shop, Koval Distillery, Foxtrot and The Merchandise Mart, among others.

Outside of Knoed, they organize and host the CreativeMornings Chicago chapter, a free monthly breakfast lecture series for creative types, bringing more than 100 people together every month.

Knoed enjoys speaking to designers, most recently at The Art Directors Club of Tulsa and the Hike Conference. They were recently featured in Newcity Design 50: Who Shapes Chicago 2015 and named People To Watch in 2013 by GD USA. Their work has been recognized in Communication Arts, Print, HOW, I.D., Graphis and Smashing Magazine and published in books by Rockport Publishers, Princeton Architectural Press and Hightone Books.

Special thanks to Danyelle Sage, AIGA Chicago Event Chair, for organizing this event and to NoPattern for the artwork.

This event is sponsored by Dupli-Graphic.
