Office Ours is a series of virtual studio tours focused on the nuts and bolts of running a creative practice. Featuring an evolving roster of studios representing different areas of practice, this is a chance to dig below the surface and see how businesses operate, evolve, and thrive.

The link to the Zoom conference will be sent out to you via email a day before the event and again the morning of the event.

This is a free event. Donations are welcome and will go to support student scholarships and ongoing programming for our creative community.

Moderator

About Antonio García

Antonio García is Design Strategy Director at Table XI, founder of Dadwell & Co., and Co-President of AIGA Chicago.

Prior to joining TXI’s leadership team, Antonio was Group Experience Director at Rightpoint. Before Rightpoint, he helped launch Northern Lab—Northern Trust’s internal innovation accelerator. Ahead of the Lab, he led gravitytank’s interaction design discipline and social innovation practice. Leading into innovation consulting, Antonio was Director of Strategy for Firebelly Design.

In addition to design leadership, Antonio is a mentor, educator, and lecturer at Northwestern University’s Segal Design Institute and Designation. He previously taught Customer Discovery as part of University of Chicago’s Polsky Center Entrepreneurship Essentials and New Product Definition at IIT Institute of Design.

A frequent contributor to community conversations on the topics of DEIB, design ethics, culture and creativity, Antonio believes design’s sole function is to cause change.

If he’s not hard at work, Antonio is most likely DJing, drawing, or training for his next marathon.
