About Tristan J.M. Hummel
Since receiving his degree in advanced art practice from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Tristan has worked steadily to push the boundaries of curation—building exhibitions in skyscrapers, city trains, shipping containers, cars, buses, vacant retail spaces, alleys and a variety other urban environments. Central to his process: the dynamics between objects and their governing bodies, ownership and use as an art medium.
