Can you GIVE us a hint about what your DESIGN-related New Year’s resolutions are?
Or are you still ASKING yourself what they COULD be?
Well, are any of your resolutions about expanding your circle of fellow creatives?
Or perhaps you have a resolution about GIVING MORE locally brewed beer a try?
Well…you don’t have to ASK us to Command G, you are already in this GROUP! So, come join us – AIGA Chicago and the Community Engagement Team – at our no-nonsense, CASUAL, community event we simply call ASK + GIVE at Empirical Brewery -- New Year, NEW LIFE Edition!
What is "ASK + GIVE"? It’s an open-mic platform where you can ASK your fellow designers to GIVE you feedback, advice, or even recommendations. Or if you don’t have an ASK, you can simply GIVE a resource, a design journey anecdote, or even just your personal definition of design! So come unwind with a brew from Empirical’s BEERIODIC table menu (or with a can of soda), and GIVE -- or ASK -- one-on-one, via our NEW! Google Write-In form, or on the open mic….because you never know WHO can GIVE what you need.
SPECIAL THIS MONTH: We are folding in an activity for ALL those who finished their undergrad and graduate program this Fall – and for those who simply didn’t get a ceremony due to COVID – a mock graduation!
We will play the graduation march…you will get a (paper) grad cap…and you will walk across the stage as we announce your name and degree to an audience of your design peers.
