Art of the Kickoff – Immersive Web Design with Dogstudio

We've all been there – that new project is finally greenlit and you're hungry to get started, but how? A great kickoff meeting can tee you up to do your best work but a flop just wastes everybody’s time.

Join us on April 28 for a special presentation from our friends at Dogstudio – sharing their kickoff approach for immersive web projects. With Miro, Dogstudio will walk attendees through a UX and a UI exercise that they always include in their immersive web kickoffs. As an attendee, you will be playing the role of the client. Dogstudio will give you the (brief) client overview and then guide you through the exercises to start thinking about your users. If time allows, there will be a short Q+A at the end.

You certainly don't need to be an expert, but you'll get the most out of this talk if you have a year or two of UX/UI experience under your belt. Most of the walkthrough will be interactive, so you will need to have access to a desktop browser for the event.

We recommend signing up for a free Miro account ahead of time: https://miro.com/signup/

Thank you to Dogstudio for sharing their time and expertise for this event. Dogstudio has an office here in Chicago and more around the world in Mexico, Amsterdam and Belgium. They are also currently hiring for Chicago.

The link to the Zoom event will be sent out to you via email a day before the event and again the afternoon of the event.
