Design, particularly graphic design, is engaged in many ways when activating social movements. Images, branding, signage, and illustration are employed to shape activism, to make it tangible, and to engage constituencies. Design Museum’s UNITE: Design for Social Activism panel discussion explores how designers create visual identity and spur action in the context of social movements.

On the evening of February 22nd, our panel of diverse thought leaders, activists, and professionals will come together to discuss the importance of graphic design in branding social movements and political activism.
