Join us as Frances MacLeod – graphic designer, letterer, and maker of things shares her creative journey with us. Originally from Wichita, Kansas, Frances MacLeod is a graduate of Columbia College and has endured six Chicago winters. She recently joined Leo Burnett’s Dept. of Design, contributes regularly to Lost Type, and serves as the creative lead at Workshop. While her freelance work combines thoughtfulness and craft for small businesses, her personal work tends to explore the beautification of words, typically through lettering practices that could be described as lovingly obsessive.
