Boost Grant Awardees

Congratulations to the AIGA Chicago Student Chapters at Columbia College Chicago and the UIC School of Design for winning this year’s Boost Grants.

AIGA Chicago is committed to creating opportunities for design students to engage with the broader community. This year, the chapter offered two Boost Grants of up to $750 each for student groups, which they can use to help bring projects of their design to fruition.

Columbia’s group will be working on rebranding and marketing projects for America Scores, a nationwide community outreach organization that serves elementary and middle school children in Chicago, and Chicago Children’s Museum.

UIC’s group will be designing materials that will promote and benefit Chicago HOPES for Kids, an organization that provides educational support for children living in Chicago’s homeless shelters.

Let’s give a big hand to our AIGA Student Chapters at Columbia College and the UIC School of Design.
