2017 AIGA Chicago Awards Celebration
On April 13th, we’ll gather at Loft on Lake to honor this year’s recipients of the 2017 AIGA Chicago Awards—an unparalleled group of talent that has enhanced the profession, impact and culture of design in Chicago. We’re recognizing designers, companies, and organizations whose work strives to unite all ages, disciplines, races, income, genders, and perspectives in the design community, reduce violence in Chicago, and bolster K-12 design education.

AIGA Chicago is proud to partner with Loft on Lake, the quintessential Chicago event venue and photography studio. Owners Cher and Steve Garrett also own KGADesign and GarrettPhotographic, established branding, design and photography firms. Their children, Jessica, designer and Evan, cinematographer follow along in the families creative path.

The Garrett's are committed to the local creative community, have mentored design and photography students and supported individual artists and philanthropic causes through access to the Loft on Lake platform.
