Yes, it’s time again. Wednesday, October 29, marks the 25h annual Unisource Paper Show—the nation’s largest graphic design event sponsored by a paper distributor, you know, and the first under the company’s new Veritiv banner.
This year’s gathering will happen at the Westin Chicago River North, which is actually the site of the very first show, back in 1991, when the place was called the Hotel Nikko. The theme: TRUTH. The highlight (possibly) of the night: a keynote called25×25, in which 25 designers will each take exactly one minute to share a thought about truth, and which will be moderated by AIGA Chicago Co-president Sara Frisk.
Invites are in the mail, with a few up for grabs at various AIGA Chicago events this month. The signature hashtag, in case you’re into that sort of thing, is #25papershow.
