Nick Butcher and Nadine Nakanishi, the couple behind the design and screen-printing studio Sonnenzimmer, are at war with creative complacency. They’ve been fighting the good fight since the launch of their studio in 2006, finding an outlet early on making posters for Chicago’s vibrant jazz scene. They’re also featured in This Is Chicago, a just-launched look at the city’s design community published by AIGA Chicago.
