About Leo Burnett, The Department of Design
As designers at Leo Burnett - Chicago, The Department of Design operates like a small design studio. Our Department is comprised of design groups who focus on specific clients and opportunities. We collaborate with internal creative teams and directly with our clients.

The Department has collectively received some of the industry’s highest honors. We have been recognized by the following: The D&AD, The One Show, Communication Arts, The Type Director’s Club, The Chicago Creative Club, Print Regional Design Annual, the AIGA, The Clios and the Society of Typographic Arts, Chicago. We were also awarded the inaugural D&AD White Pencil award for our launch work on Recipeace, a social movement that brings people in conflict together over food.
