Artisan and AIGA Chicago presents
In-house Perspectives
What happens when your client is your co-worker? In-house brand teams are on the rise and leveraging proximity to positively impact the bottom line.

Join us as we speak to a panel of designers with diverse backgrounds to discuss their perspectives on in-house brand, culture, and community.

Moderator
Trina Uzee, Visual Design Director & Creative Director at Allstate
Trina Uzee is the Executive Creative Director of the User Experience and Design Group at Allstate. As a creative, UX and digital trailblazer–she was a UX Director in 2003 before it was a thing. Trina has led and coordinated multi-agency initiatives for some of the biggest brands and agencies in the world like GSD&M, Tribal DDB and Digitas. Moving in-house almost three years ago at Allstate, Trina has found her home leading their world-class UX and Design practice.

Trina is one of the too-few women in UX and Creative Leadership, but that has never been enough. She has always been driven to create. Jewelry designer. Batik artist. Entrepreneur. Inspirational speaker. Mentor. Author. Illustrator. Wife. Mom. Lover of hot baths, yoga, meditation and crystals.

Her fresh perspectives and razor-sharp insights have led to invitations to serve on award show panels, as well as speaking engagements and panel invitations at SXSW, Society Of Digital Advertisers, SheSays Chicago, General Assembly, numerous start-ups and at Allstate. In addition to her day job, Trina is on the strategic leadership team of AWIN, the women's group at Allstate, creating all of the self-care and wellbeing programs for AWIN. She also leads the meditation practice for all of Allstate enterprise-wide.
