Brain Flower started as a simple icon for a class assignment which then has evolved into a full–fledged digital zine. The zine features the best illustration work created by the graphic design students at the College of DuPage and showcases a vast array of talent. Thanks to the fantastic reception of Brain Flower’s inaugural issue, this year we are delighted to take it from being a digital form into a printed magazine.

As the judges selected artwork for the printed publication, an emphasis was placed on choosing illustrations that were thoughtful, inspired creativity and told a story. The featured artwork demonstrates the program’s focus on line quality, conceptualization and merging traditional mediums with digital tools.

Brain Flower has been brought to you by the AIGA Student Group Officers and members. Our hope is that Brain Flower can be a conduit for future AIGA members to express their creativity in both digital and printed mediums.
